When can I make changes to my benefit coverage?EBAdmin2023-06-12T15:31:33+00:00
When you can make changes to your enrollment choices depends on the benefit:
- Medical, Dental, Vision coverage: You can generally make coverage changes ONLY during the annual Open Enrollment Period (OE) which takes place between October-November every year. The changes made during this time would be effective January 1st of the following year. Please make sure your changes are submitted by the deadline communicated during OE.
- The exception is if you experience a Qualifying Life Event (such as getting married or having a baby) during the year. If you have experienced a Qualifying Life Event you must inform Ensign within 30 days of the event in order to make changes to your benefits. - Health Savings Account (if eligible), Transportation, any of our Voluntary Benefits, Auto & Home, and 401(k) deferral: You can change enrollment in these plans at ANY time during the year. For more information on these plans click here.
